The Beginning
4 Cross Samaritan Ministry begin in 2001 with one Minister, evangelizing around the country, at that time we were called Samaritan Ministry. When we were Samaritan Ministry we had a homeless ministry, and a full time traveling evangelist field. The ministry was out of Tennessee for a season, by 2017 we relocated permanently to Texas, we have grown as the Lord Jesus grown in us, by 2019 The Lord brought to birth 4 Cross Samaritan Ministry.
John 15; 1-8;
{15:1} I am the true vine, and my Father is the
husbandman. {15:2} Every branch in me that beareth not
fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit,
he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. {15:3} Now
ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto
you. {15:4} Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot
bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can
ye, except ye abide in me. {15:5} I am the vine, ye [are] the
branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same
bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
{15:6} If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch,
and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into
the fire, and they are burned. {15:7} If ye abide in me, and
my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it
shall be done unto you. {15:8} Herein is my Father
glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my
disciples.
About
4 Cross Samaritan Ministry, is a called body of believers with the sole purpose to bring the Word to a lost and dying people in this world.
Our ministers have been given a burden from the Lord to go out into the highways, and hedges to compel those Jesus described in
(Luke 4:15-23). We believe this is a commandment from God; it’s not for us to stop our gathering together as a church body, but to go out and gather in as part of the gospel of Christ. So we will still have the braking of bread as a collective body, but now we are incorporating the ministry of going out for periods of days. And living among the homeless community, this will allow God to use us to establish a trusting, and genuine relationships, we believe this is what the Lord meant by go out and compel them to The Marriage Supper of The Lamb. We will have volunteers that will be preparing food to feed the homeless community.
We acknowledge there are new laws being made against homeless living, about staying in public areas. Our ministers will have to be wise how we exercise our rights. It has become our core responsibility that we obey God’s commandment. We hope within a few years if God tarries, that our Lord will build and establish satellite feeding, and sheltering facilities, as well as jobs for the homeless community. We believe that God will make a great impact in this country for a transition spiritually and naturally into the communities.
This is the ministry of the church at “4 Cross Samaritan Ministry”. (The Word of God says that, where there is no vision, the people will parish, but he that keepeth the law happy is he). What Jesus commanded in the New Testament for the church to do isn’t new. The Old Testament said in the law of God’s commandments of the moral law is (Leviticus 19:9, 10; 23:22; 25:35, 36; Ezekiel 22:29; we are to feed, clothe, and shelter the stranger, and the poor with our sustenance. Christ Jesus is our food, and water, and it is given to us daily in our garden (our heart) as we hunger and thirst for it, (John 15 says, “Jesus is the True Vine, and my Father is the husbandman.” So when we produce fruit we are to share it, even if the fouls of the air lodge on us, Matthew 13:32; Mark 4:32; Luke 9:12; But when it is sown, it growth up, becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it. When the Lord bakes us as bread, after our fiery trials from carrying our cross (a crucified way of living) being sifted as wheat, that is where we have to give from spiritually as we are out ministering. The natural part is food, drink, clothing, and shelter that come from God blessing us, the church, and the brotherhood. We are to give from our abundance or as the Lord leads us as a Christians that is what the Lord commanded us to do. We are grateful God is sending 4 Cross Samaritan Ministry mighty partners in Christ to help in this journey of obedience, as well as those just wanting to be a help in God doing an impact with the homeless community, (Psalms 127:1 except the LORD build the house, the labor in vain that build the house, except the LORD keep the city. The watchman waketh, but in vain.
